Head Reconditioning

Our performance valve job includes the following:

• Disassemble and inspect head.
• Complete head reconditioning which includes not just cleaning the head but also meticulous bead blasting to remove power-robbing carbon deposits in intake and exhaust ports.
• Solution clean head and inspect valve guides and replace as necessary (valve guide parts and replacement additional cost).
• Professional valve seat cutting. This step is absolutely required for quality results and the durability of your valves and yet is often overlooked by inferior service shops.
• Lap valves to assure valve-to-valve seat seal.
• Assemble head and valve components.
• Bench shimming is also available.

We offer OEM and aftermarket valve and head components. New OEM heads are also available. AS Racing is your one stop shop for all your head and valve needs.

Head Port and Polish

The modern four stroke powersports performance motor depends heavily on intake and exhaust gas velocity. The stock head, while offering good flow, can be significantly improved with AS Racing's port and polish service. Our port and polish service includes the following:

• Disassemble and inspect head.
• Complete head reconditioning which includes not just cleaning the head but also meticulous bead blasting to remove power-robbing carbon deposits in intake and exhaust ports.
• Meticulous and performance proven porting and polishing for the exhaust and ported intake ports.
